BGS Goaltender Prospects Camp

  Briere's Goalie School is very proud to present the first ever goaltender only prospects camp.

  Our mission at Briere's Goalie School is to provide  to all of our goalie the opportunity to excell and climb the ladder to the next level. Thus the introduction of the BGS Prospects Camp.

  As the goalie coach in the USHL and NAHL, SJHL and NCAA Division I, I have been involved in many of training camps and try outs as well as prospect camps. I have yet to see a camp that is dedicated to allowing goaltenders the best opportunity to show all aspects of their game in a multiple day setting.

I have been involved in camps where an hour was dedicated to goaltenders but no one is watching and thats all there was. I have been involved in prospect camps where they do off ice testing, However none of the test were goaltender specific. Finally once the goaltender has finnished the camp they are on their own to start all over again at the next camp.

  At BGS we have taken all these issues and concerns and put together the 2011 goaltender dedicated prospects camps. These camps are built by goaltenders for goaltenders and will be used as the recruiting component for Omaha Lancers of the USHL and Topeka RoadRunners of the NAHL as well as the Estevan Bruins of the SJHL. We also have representation from NCAA Div I and III colleges as wel as other junior leagues across North America.

  Each goaltender will be filmed on every aspect of the camp and BGS will create a video library to be used to promote each goaltender. This libabry can also be updated throughout the season in order to allow scouts the best and most up to date video on each goaltender.

 Each goaltender will receive 9 hrs of on ice instruction as well as 9 hours of off ice and classroom combination. Each goaltender will also receive and complete recruting guide and free equipment trials from Stomp Manufacturing.
